I've got an '56 Evinrude 5.5hp Fisherman Outboard. It runs excellant except, the fuel connection at the motor leaks, the o-rings in the fitting on the end of the hose appear to be worn out. I've price them and they're very expensive, like $56 for one! I've tried to replace the o-rings in it but they just don't fit right and still leak. What will I need to convert this over to a single fuel line setup? I'm guessing an external mounted, vacuum operated fuel pump. I don't have a clue where to hook it up, thought? Has anybody done this before? Thanks.
