I have a 2007 Cobalt and it has a Corsa system installed. Both diverters have failed and no longer energize and instead they just click and wiggle a little bit but don't actually actuate.
I have removed the diverters and combined the red and white wire to a constant 12 volt and rounded the black and get the same results.
Friend of mine is going full exhaust on his 8.1 MPI and pulled his whole Corsa system and gave me his diverters.
His are also three wire but it has a red and a black wire and a white connector and then another single red wire on a single white connector.
Where is on mine? My old solenoids are actually four wire solenoids that feed into a small cylinder relay and then converts to three wires into a three-wire black connector.
I found some pretty interesting other users on here that were successfully able to use the newer 4/3 wire actuator in their older two-wire system
But nowhere can I find anything about this? Interesting white connector 3. Wire diverter that I have from my friend.
My dead diverters are four wire to three wire and have a built-in time delay relay... The replacements which work properly when applying 12 volt and ground to them. Also I have three wires but there is no integrated solenoid and no four wires anywhere.
So it seems like they should work. Just trying to get a little bit more information about the wiring on these as I can't find anything on corsa's website or on Google or on YouTube.
