This guy was the poster representative of the Republican party for anti-child abuse. The party without question knew of his sickness. Yes I think he is a sick bas.... . Yet they let him get away with it.

Real republicans should be blasting these guys and demanding they resign. They do not represent what you believe and in truth you despise them.

Get rid of them, there are other republicans that will stand for your beliefs, you do not have to replace them with Democrats.

I've been reading the transcript of the obscene IMs that Representative Foley sent to a 16-year-old boy over at the ABC News site. One thing that jumped out at me is that Foley was in a hotel in Pensacola, Florida when he wrote these particular IMs. Therefore, he is subject to the laws of the State of Florida in this matter.

I realize that the boy who received the IMs was probably in another state, and that the IMs crossed state lines, and thus federal laws may have been violated as well. But just to keep it simple, let's see what law Foley may have violated in the great State of Florida. Keep in mind that a minor is defined under Florida law as a person under the age of 18 years. Per Florida Statute 847.001

ABC News now has obtained 52 separate instant message exchanges, which former pages say were sent by Foley, using the screen name Maf54, to two different boys who began their exchanges with Foley at the age of 16 and 17, and continued through the age of 18.

What the "Contract with America" said in part was that finally since a new Republican majority was made possible by the people, the people would be rewarded with "no more politics as usual."
This meant a more honest and transparent leadership.
"Integrity" was the implied theme.

Since then, the Republican's have revealed themselves as genuine, honest to goodness,............... Democrats.
