Re: Curiosity poll

Now i am here to stay...as long as they don't ban me for being stupid sometimes.....
If that were the criteria I don't think we'd have many members or moderators  We have banned one or two for being stupid all the time, and even that took a while

Re: Curiosity poll

This is why I love this place all the great folks from around the world with lots of different opinions. When there is a real need everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful. I joined because I am somewhat OCD and I study up on every project in advance. I was in the corvette forum, the gun forums , and several others but I must say this is by far the best forum with the best people of any forum I have ever been a part of. Thanks to all of you !!

Re: Curiosity poll

I joined because I KNEW I wanted a 20-24 cuddy, but didn't know anything about them. I learned alot while going through my looking process. I've asked some dumb questions, but got helpful and respectful answers. The people here are a great bunch and saved me a ton of cash and my engine. Thanks Ya'll for all the help and advice!

I didn't vote because I joined because I liked the people here, and I also like how it is Moderated, no BS helpful Boaters.

I have never regretted joining iboats, its a great site!

Re: Curiosity poll

i chose the 3rd one because there really wasnt one for my situation, i started reading posts because i was searching for answers and links would bring me here, i read and searched the forums to find answers, if you look hard enough, you can find all the answers on here without asking anything, just have to sift through more threads, had my transom in and stringers and floor done before i joined. i really joined so i could share my story and maybe help someone

Re: Curiosity poll

I joined looking for info on boats when I bought mine last year. I also enjoy reading and replying to posts. Although I don't get to post as much because they block us from logging in at work.

Re: Curiosity poll

i joined as i had a small sinking problem then i stayed around after the rebuild to help others.

I had a "sinking feeling" once. Made the mistake of telling my health nut brother. Wound up having all kind of invasive tests run including the "big one".

If I ever have a "sinking problem", I'll keep it to myself.

John

By the way, I stumbled across this site doing an internet search, and realized the wealth of information that was here.
