Went to go put some stuff in storage. Pulled up and no lock on my storage unit. Heart sank when I opened the door to find my 8' 2" pipe tilt trailer and my tractor gone! they didn't take the rest of the implements (at least not yet). So now I'm without my trailer and a good diesel tractor!<br /><br />talk about being (edit: angry)!<br /><br />

I'm Speachless, that is a tragedy. I would probably cry. I just bought my first (Lawn)last year. I hope you can recover this loss somehow.

no video cameras. This is a very rural area so I'm sure it's on somebodys property never to be seen by me again. I'm glad it wasn't my new Cub Cadet but that I keep in the garage. Just didn't have enough room in the garage to keep this.<br /><br />my stomach just sank. Like someone just kicked me in the groin.

I'll bet the thieves were (country of origin deleted). That is a shame, but of course you had some kind of insurance. Hope it is a better policy that mine.

i dont think "sentimental value" has a price. My mom would have said "son, someone needed it more then you" say a prayer for them....I'd be willing to donate $50.00 to a "reward fund" and print up flyers to post in the area.....

thanks MYTJC. I'm going to print up some this week and take them up there with me on Friday. Put them in the little beer stores and there's 1 tractor repair place......but I just have that feeling that's it's hid out on somebodys property and won't be seen again! This is not a very common tractor, like a kubota or deere....but who knows!

Check your policy kelton. Here in Wisconsin there is usaully automatic cover for trailers up to 1500 dollars on most policies.

I work hard for what little i have and its not much.....And to have someone steal something from anybody just makes my blood boil....

If I still have any implements when I get there I'm going to sell them to try to recoup some cost.<br /><br />I have:<br />4' brush hog<br />4' finish mower<br />4' rotary tiller<br />4' disk harrow <br /><br />so hopefully I can get something for those so it won't be too bad.<br /><br />we'll see!

Does your offsite storage facility have a owner?? what does he think about items being stolen from his business.

Been there, done that Kelton, with my two boat motors taken from my storage lockers and then my Suburban. (which I did get back) It is a heart stopping, sickening feeling. I feel your pain. It brings back bad feelings.<br /><br />I hope you get some action on your flyers.

Kelton,<br /><br />Check with your homeowners policy. If you do not like the answer from your agent call the claims department; they are the folks who decide what your policy pays anyhow. Most good policies cover your property ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD up to a specific percentage of your personal property coverage amount. A tractor should be covered automatically unless it has plates which would then require a specific auto policy.
