Re: Distributor/Timing Belt Needed 75 hp
man, i hate to rub salt in the wound, but i just replaced my timing belt on my 105 chrysler, and i got it for $4.21, i had ordered one from a marine supplier, went to motion industries, and they ordered me one, its a gates industrial belt, its a 180XL037, thats the gates part number, next time, find a gates belt dealer and get them to order you one
and it sounds like youve got your motor timed 180 degrees off, make sure when you put it back together and you line your timing marks up, that the number 1 piston is all the way at the top of its stroke
