I just brought this boat for $1000 and motor and i dont know what sort it is pls help me all i know. It is 15 foot long.<br />Does anyone know what this boat is.<br />

pics worked for me, gotta say I've never seen anything like it! looks like a very wide, very deep V, closed bow with some kind of cabin underneath judging by the double-door hatch, a very tall console with windshield, and a Chrysler 115 "CHARGER DELUXE" with a blue/pink/orange motif.<br /><br />very shiny hull, unless the hole is in the other side it looks in very good condition.

Looks like a super dry boat.The superstructure looks like it may have been a custom add on .Like the boat!!!!! Dont like the motor,though it looks to be in great shape,sorry to say, THAT would be an absolute LAST choice in motors.Hope it works out well for you and if you keep that motor,stay close to shore.Charlie

Looks a lot like a C Dory style design.The small C Dorys have a reputation as a small yet seaworthy boat.Of course they are fitted with hard top and not canvas.

Sure, it's a boat put into a trash dump many years ago. If you give more than $100.00 for it, then that's too much!! Ditto on the Chrysler. $20.00 is too much .... Why do you want to bring the dead back to life?? Let them ROT!!!!! $1000 ??? Man, they saw you coming!

Looks kinda like a Radon to me, but the curve of the fairing isn't right. The Radons had sharper, straighter angles, and this sweeps more. Radons are common along the central coast of California; used for gill netting tenders, urchin diving and lobster traps but 15 feet is too small for that.

It may be a British design known as a Skip Dory. There were a few of them around in the mid 70's. The cabin doesn't look quite right though. That Chrysler is a known money hole. Be careful, they are one of the absolute worst motors ever made.<br />Stalker

You're right! I was a little too harsh! My bad! It's just you ask'd about the boat AFTER you spent the mulah!! Doesn't quite jive..... Perhaps it's a great boat... but I'd have thought you'd of ask'e prior to the purchase! No big thing!! BTW, 15 ft long isn't gunna give you much comfort! Now, the motor.... POS!!!!! Hi all and thanks for ya reply well the nice ones anyway. I pulled the plugs out of the motor put some clean fuel in the plug holes put the plugs back in cranked it over and away it went first go and straight away sat there and idoled with no vibrations nice and smooth.<br /><br />Some of use have to do with what we can afford to me it is a good boat compared to my 12ft tinni with a wapping 4 Hp johnson that is as old as the hill or even older.
