Re: Dunaruna, Kiwi Phil & Get Reel

I was going to gloat, and post the first couple of paragraph of the leading news article, but after reading RPJSs last couple of posts I won't. Thank you for being so humble in defeat. I think you have summed up the English team very accurately and I hope the Board of selectors heed your advise. I too would like to see a more competitive opposition. It has for too many years been the gamble of not IF Australia win, but by how much. Just as Michael Schmuncher has taken the fun out of F1, I think the Australian cricket dominance runs the risk of doing the same thing.

I look forward to those photos.

Chris...............

RP

I hope your right on the selectors. Remember to take some positives out of the game. The result was not as one sided as some might think.

Remember Botham was Captain at the start of the series many moons ago, they replaced him and he almost beat us on his own. You have some support for your bowlers this series.

Good luck in the next test

GR

That was very gracious of you RP.
I heard the final score at 4am, and thought to my self: "I'll wind him up when I get home", but I am not going to now.
It is a pity it was not a little closer in the final stages, but there is always the next test.Good luck to you then.
Cheers
Phillip

Just got back from a weeks bush
Bad news
No cricket coverage and no iboats.

I was suprised by the ease of the ozzies win, rather hoping that the poms would put up a fight,
Ah well, theres always another match.

There ya go, see! being all cocky and overly confident :p you may have the team with the most depth and experience but we are talking about cricket are'nt we? lots can happen ;)

Don't go writing us off just yet, we like a good challenge, of that i'm quite sure that you are well aware, don't forget we are the home team and there are certain advantages to that :p :D

Good on ya RJPS, just to let us know who you are, can you streak onto the pitch during the first session of the second days play.
Better not leave it until the third day, the aussies will probebly have it wrapped up by then. ;)

Vlad

Born and bred in Plymouth but lived in Sutton Coldfield for the past 15 years.

I was suprised when I read someone in Texas supporting the "Home" team.

I take it you still have roots in the UK
