<br />Having watched recently and not really getting too much into the rules and why they came about, IMHO opinion the new super-sub rule sucks and the "powerplay" rule seems to over-complicate things while having no discernable influence on the game. If they keep going this way, we'll have "fielding sides" and "batting sides" and we'll wind up with a game like Grid Iron. Interested to see what the others think.

I doubt they'd have the patience for the five days of play. After all, they need a "We'll be back in 30 seconds" between the ads on the tube. Then they'd complain about no result after those five days. No, I think it's best if we didn't try to civilize them too much.
