There was not enough resolution in the image for me to tell if it is an 8 or 0 in the ph#. I can see it both ways.<br /><br />Ebay deleted the listing for this item out of my watch list. You can still do a search on the item number 2448617356 and see a note stating, “the seller ended this listing early because there was an error in the listing.” Maybe this is why you didn’t get a reply, johnnybigrigger. Anyway, he's gone...for now.

You can be he'll be back with a different ebay handle and a new line of B/S in the very near future. The good news is that tracking down these scams is entertaining for us until the boating season starts again. Once you know what to look for they stick out like a sore thumb!

i again did the ebay fraud report thingamajiggy form. let's see if they get rid of the listing. <br /><br />i had emailed the seller and was told:<br /><br />"Maybe the most important thing that i have to tell you is that i am affiliated at eBay Square Trade and i assume you know what mean this. I emailed the guy that actually owned the boat. Poor guy, seems as though he had had it at auction, and as soon as his closed, this scammer reposted it as his. <br /><br />Here's his response..<br /><br />"Thank You , It is well worth the money for the ten days . I can not believe I can't get ebay to stop him . You do not know how many people have emailed me . I hope that guy gets a look at this . A gentleman emailed me today & said he almost bought the boat this morning . Have a nice day !!!!!!!!!"<br /><br />-Roger

You guys did GOOD!!! I just got a verification email from Ebay's Safe Harbor dept. The boat with the sign in the background with the Canada or GA area code was a hi-jacked acct. Ebay is now in the process of restoring the acct to the rightful owner. They also said there is virus software going around that is being used to record keystrokes to gain access to hi-jack accts.
