Electric shock from engine cowling

Currently getting an electric shock from my engine cowling when the motor is running. Recently had the voltage regulator changed out. Sounds like a grounding issue. Any ideas on where I should start looking?

Maybe a plug wire arcing to the cowling? Possibly arcing to cowling latch/bracket?

Sounds like a good place to start. You have to work hard to get shocked from 12v. Your body's internal resistance is too high.
