If you have a carbed engine, I wouldn't even fool around with the mixed fuel. Just inject the fogging oil into the carb as instructed on the can. It's a 3-4 minute job. Couple squirts down each spark plug hole is a good idea.
Last year was the first time I had to do it differently because of MPI. As per the manual, mix up a fuel cocktail and hook it up to the fuel line feed. Run the engine on this cocktail for 10 minutes.
Manual says to mix 19L (5 US gal) gasoline, 1.89L (2 US quarts) TCW3 2 stroke oil and fuel stabilizer. That works out to 10/1 mix. Not sure if it needs to be that strong of a mix, but that is what the manual says.. It's an easy job, just a pain in the butt. Mixing up the jug, hooking up fuel lines, depends on your access to these, etc. One thing for sure NOT to do, don't mix up 20L of this stuff. ONE gal or 4L is lots.
