I am in the process of repairing a 1985 Astroglass bass Boat. I had to replace the deck and the stringers due to rot. The foam was water soaked. I was replacing the foam and somehow when I pored the foam in the center section the foam filled the drain channel. I would prefer not to have to dig all this foam out. My question Is it important to keep a drain channel at the deck area if the entire area under the deck is full of foam with no area for water to be stored and the deck it self is entirely fiber glassed in?
