epoxy sealer to seal plywood deck?

all i can find around here is epoxy sealer, its expensive. is that what i want to seal my floor? everyone says epoxy resin, not sure of the difference.

epoxy with three coats has far better waterproofing characteristics.

however....a properly sealed poly glassed deck. will last 40 years with the same up keep.....and it is far cheaper.

btw....i dont know where you are.....but i will gaurentee you that a store that sells poly resin, is not far away.

wall mart for example

Epoxy 'Sealers' are normally used for Varnish prep or Paint prep for wood. Not for a full deck seal up. And if you used anything less then Marine grade it will drink up more sealer then a senior prom date on lake habosue.

You need resin unless your going to use good quality wood for a subfloor to apply a teak and holly or some kind of 'flooring' .. then you can use your Sealer..
