I'll take it out and recheck the compression when I get back . I'll also recheck the torque before I do.

Thanks for the very kind offer but this is the starboard side, the original damaged head was port-side That's why I'm expecting the worst, I'll do like you said though and re torque the head before I go out.
And I'll report back with the findings when I get back
