Hello!
My father have just got his new boat delivered.
We chose the new evinrude 150 E-Tec for engien.
I have discovered that the price difference between the 150 hp and 175 and 200 is not so great in the us, but here in my country the price difference is very segnificant. So therfore the choice came to the 150 hp one. As I have learned afterwords is that the 150, 175 and 200 hp is exactly the same engien.
The horsepower difference must be in the ECU..
Since there is no weight difference and so on..
So the big question is:
Is there possible to get hold on a ECU for the 200 hp E-tec? Anybody heard of someone doing this?? I know there will probalby a waranty question.. But if you keep the old ECU and swap when it's time for service and so on...
Any thoughts??
brgds
