Update: Based on my brother's very loud, painful exclamation announcing that my boat's parents were never married, she's sparking really nicely now. On both cylinders. I haven't tested it with the electric starter yet, but at least with hand starting she sparks!

Aww come on. Don't leave us hanging. What was the problem? Or did it just start working?

Todd - I'm not entirely sure what the problem ended up being. The only thing I did differently was put some heat shrink tubing over the spark plug wires to act as boots where they enter the coils. Not sure if this had anything to do with it starting to work or not.

Other than that, I guess you could say it just started working.
