Your 82 engine does not have a voltage regulator. Many of the older, especially lower hp engines have only a rectifier. Their charging voltage is commonly unregulated, yielding the voltages you are seeing. This is normal. I'd keep an eye on the water level in the battery through the summer and run the radio a lot. It is possible that your Bombardier dealer may be able to provide you with a specially engineered rectifier/regulator kit which will retrofit to your engine (the dealer likely will have to call the company about this.)
