Hi guys, 79 evinrude 115. Yesterday i was running a compression test on the engine, because i could not get the engine to go above 3000 rpm's, and i found a broken wire that was leading to the port side powerpack. I repaired the wire, and now i've got spark on the top cylinder port side, but it's very weak. It will however jump a 7/16" gap, but it's very thin. As the engine has been sitting for roughly a year and a half without being ran it could be anything. any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. There is no change in the way the engine runs when i pull that plug.
