Re: Experience with "marine superstore"?
Mako240, warranty service does not a REAL customer make, when a shop is backed up with several weeks of repair work AND the customer bought the motor elsewhere. A dealer will understand the case where a customer has moved into the area as opposed to the one who travelled a bunch of hours to save a few bucks. By the way, most dealers are willing to negotiate on price and the lowest "price" isn't always the lowest when service is considered. A good dealer will not give up on the most difficult problems, while the bottom of the heap only work the easy ones. I'm sure you've seen this with car repairs, etc.
