Michael Vick's NFL career might be over.

"Vick is expected to be suspended by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell after news broke Tuesday evening that Vick was indicted by federal authorities in connection with dog fighting in Virginia. The indictment followed a three-month investigation."

Making that kind of money and getting involved in an illegal dogfighting scandal is just plain stupid.

He's an idiot and deserves everything he gets.

Don't take this wrong, I believe what he did was stupid, idiotic, and foolhearted. I think he should be suspended and face jail time, if convicted.

But what burns me is that he could have been caught with illegal drugs and they would have slapped his wrist and let him keep playing. If it is a crime, do the time. PERIOD.

Marcus Vick stomps on a player when he's down in a bowl game....along with numerous other incidents and crimes.

Michael Vick involved, supposedly, in cruelty to animals.

Brings shame to my state. We aren't all like this, you know.

It will be of interest to see how the Falcons, the NFL and the fans handle this.

Roy Jones fights dogs too. He also fights chickens. If you look at his place on Google Earth you see hundreds or thousands of the little a-frame shelters for the fighting birds. People who force animals to fight for thier amuzment or perosnal enrichment are sub-human scum.

Time to make a stand against this Hip-Hop BS. It's ruined the NBA. Time to root it out before it does the same to the NFL. The old addage..."You can take the boy out of the jungle, but you can't take the jungle out of the boy" seems to ring loud here.

I agree with Soulwinner, "People who force animals to fight for thier amuzment or perosnal enrichment are sub-human scum."

Scumbags like that should be impaled and and left out to rot.

I could not agree with KaGee more - the thug culture that seems so popular needs to be eliminated. I had a buddy who visited Las Vegas during (unwittingly) the NBA All-Star game. It was pretty rough and he said he'd never seen so many gansta types roving around looking like they were pissed off and waiting for a chance to shoot something. He told me he watched a black Hummer decked out in chrome and massive wheels sitting at in intersection. The light turned green and the Hummer just sat there. After 10 seconds or so, the car behind it honked. The doors opened and 2 gang-banger wannabees exited and began shouting threats at the guy who dared honk at them.

Seems like no matter the occasion, you get a large volume of a certain type people together in one area and violence breaks out. I believe that fact needs to be critically examined by those loud, so called "leaders" who beat their drum whenever someone dares show anything less than complete subordination to their wishes.
