Hi, sorry for the book....But background sometime helps:

I have a Fastrac that needs the manual release valve, its in decent shape but stuck.....SO....I have a spare non-working Fastrac unit (needs a motor) to practice on. Figured If I can get it fixed up, its a good spare or I could sell it. The tackle my in-use motor. Both are off the brackets at the moment.

The spare units valve is really messed up from the prior owner..The lg. screw slot is completely gone. There is a drill bit stuck flush in it(or an easy out).

So, I was going to continue to drill it out, I'M good at this. But first I wanted to remove the valve body from the manifold to lessen any Slag/ shavings getting into the rest of the manifold.

Got the valve body off (part just below where the motor mounts). And took out the 4 torx on the inside and that inner plate/assm popped off and some parts came loose before I could examine where they resided.

I have 2 small ball bearings, 2 medium ball bearings and a spring with a shaft/cap to figure out where they go.

DOES ANYONE KNOW OR HAVE A DIAGRAM?? Its only several parts but there's multiple holes/passages etc to get right.

I could take apart my working unit as well to "see" but If I mess that up--I have no Motor! Thus wanting to tackle the spare first.

I have the ability to take it to my local machine shop to have drilled out (they are awsome at this), but I have to know how those little parts go back in.

Thanks if anyone knows!!!!!!!

Anyone know if the parts breakdown for the Fastrack valve body portion, are in the Accessories Manual? It is limited in the regualar serv manual.

Still trying to determin where the 5 ball bearings, and other items sit into the valve body.

Thanks

The BRP site shows overview only with just one or two parts listed.

The Yamaha Showa version of this TNT on thier site, shows a very detailed part breakdown, but somewhat different inside then the OMC versions.

Really hoping someone has been inside this valve body before or can point me to a PIC of where things go. I did find a freshwater valve body for 100.00 If I ultimately need it.

Thanks

Don't know if it will do much good to get a more complete breakdown-The factory doesn't show parts internal to the valve body, as they are not sold separately.

Thanks all, and Bob...Was looking into seeing if the ACC manual might have the breakdown.

Decided to call a Ebay vendor I've used before, and got a valve body for 75bucks. Clean Freshwater part with a working manual release valve.

I'm good to go!
