Re: Favorite Yes album?
Sorry for the late post, but I just got back from a week at Riviera Maya (schweeet). 8)
Being an avid guitar & bass player, I have a high appreciation of technical type music & Yes is one of my all-time faves. From that point of view, I think Howe & Squire were at their creative peaks during The Yes Album & Fragile.
The guitar work Rabin did on 90125 & Big Generator is incredible, though the bass parts are much "easier" to copy on those - guess Squire had moved away from fretboard gymnastics at that point & had just resorted to adding more basic bottom-end.
I would have to say those are my 4 favorite albums.
