[colour=blue]Nice property!

Coincidentally, our ankle biter have recently flown the coup. Pool has now gone and we are repainting every room!

I hope you are spraying all the woodwork, Aldo. I have a seething detestation of brush strokes!;)

[colour=blue]I am brushing, but I'm using an ultra high gloss enamel that 'levels' itself - looks magnificent!

Well ok then. I assume you are using an alkyd enamel, not waterbased? Good thing yer gettin it done now, 'cause after Algore gets done with you Aussies there won't be any enamel left to buy.:p

[colour=blue]Are you pulling my chain? Is there an in-joke that I'm not in on?

I don't know what 'alkyd' is. The stuff I'm using is good old oil based enamel that takes 48 hours to dry and mosquitos love it while it's wet :%

What you are using is alkyd enamel. It's oil based not latex water base. That's the rub. That's why Algore was conspiring with your Parliament, to take it away from you. It gives off solvent vapors as it dries and pollutes mother earth. I'm sure at the same time, it is probably contributing to global warming as well.

Probably not just yet. Algore just had his fleeting moment of glory at the Acadamy Awards. Hopefully, that will get him off our backs for a while. He just might have to go on some more eating binges to contemplate whether he should run for president again.

However, the day will come when they will claim that the manufacture and use of petro-solvent based paints are verbooten.

I am from Canada, and think you guys would have been made alot less fun of if Al Gore had gotten in as President. You should lay off someone who actually is doing something positive for the world, not support someone who is killing your population over seas in a useless war that you can't win...just my 2 cents and I don't want to offend anyone.

I see Saskatoon. Is that the Canadian way? Just because it is difficult you don't take it on? Canada is just as vulnerable to the radical Muslim threat as we are. You just keep burying your head in the sand and we'll do your fighting for you. And when the American liberals finally get their way and we have a catastophe in the States, I don't want to hear you whining that Ottawa or Toronto is next.

Algore is a megalomaniac, who can't get over the fact that he lost the top spot. He is seeking whatever attention he can garner, even if it is through false science. Just because he claims he is doing good does not make it so.

Finally! It's not finished yet but at least it is all one color. Tied together, if you will. I have worried this poor doghouse to death,, filling sanding and shaping, weather permitting.

Today it was 65 deg and sunny, so I shot it with the Valspar, 2 part epoxy primer. Although the picture looks good, it did show up some pinholes and cracks in the fiberglass surface.

Also, I had to experiment with different HVLP nozzles and reducer quantities to get the primer to spray decent.

All in all, the primer produced a very tough feeling surface and with a little sanding and minor filling, it should take the Interlux Brightsides very well.

She has her kitchen, I have my side drive. Never the twain shall meet.:%

Hopefully, that will pressure wash right off. I poured a bucket of water under the doghouse, just before I sprayed it, to both keep down the dust and keep the overspray from sticking.
