Finally got the new powerplant in the '78 Glastron CV23. Went from a '70 429ci to a 466ci, and ~300hp to ~500hp. Block zero-decked, 0.030" over Speed Pro Hypers, ported/polished/blended D3 heads (Cobra Jet sized ports, 2.25"/1.77" valves, new springs/locks/retainers). Lunati Voodoo cam. Harland Sharp roller rockers. Stealth 8021 intake (CJ sized ports) powdercoated "Super Chrome" with a clear powder to tone down the finish; timing cover and crank pulley PC'd same color. Armando's 10qt oil pan. Melling HV oil pump. Rail kit with top mount starter option from Jetboat Performance to clear the larger pan and tie the engine/stringers together to handle the extra ponies.
Jet pump was also fully rebuilt.
