Sure there is when you retire. . I'm loving it at 53yrs old. .

that wasnt a finish line but a starting line. Not at all saying that finish lines are bad. Starting lines are a good thing, they help keep you motivated and when you think you have finished that era in life you start a new one. no finish lines just starting lines.
Oh by the way, cant wait to start my retirement, quite a few years off though.

I'll never retire. Not because I cannot, just because I don't want to.

I need activity, in my life, to keep me sane. I have nightmares of waking up and having nothing to do or no place to be.

Please don't tell my good friend, who at 48 is running his first marathon, the NY City Marathon in two weeks. He was crying for a finish line after 18 miles on Sunday.

On the contrary, getting divorced was a delightful finish line for me then I was able to start living again

But it was not a finish but a start.
