First run of the season done

On Lake Murray in SC. "They" said the water temp was 70 but I think it was just a bit shy of that. However sunny skies and an 85 degree day made it pretty darn tolerable.

Bit rusty but despite the chop I had some good runs and jumps.

The outside of my front foot kept cramping though. Tried loosening the binding but that didn't help. Should I try opening up the angle of the binding? Right now I've got a pretty much neutral stance with each foot only slightly angled, about 9 degrees each. I'm riding at an intermediate to advanced level and feel very comfortable and stable with the position. However, after about 7-8 minutes, my foot is killing me so I'd gladly switch it up if might help.
Any suggestions?

I go 15 degrees duck foot... when I first started to wake boat my theighs would kill me. I added squats into my weekly workout routine and haven't had an issue since. Chop doesn't help the cause, it makes you ride back foot heavy which only stresses your joints/ muscles more. I never get glass to ride on so I am usually 40/60 on my board.

I did the same with squats in my workout as well - my back leg was getting beat up quite a bit and the extra squats do help. When you say 40/60, you mean your stance is not centered in the board and instead you are more towards the back end?
thanks!

I know, I know - I shouldn't complain! The water temp down here in S.C. is already warmer than where I grew up in Maine in the middle of summer. Also, what kind of Jeep(s) do you run? I've got a '79 CJ7 w/258 that I did a frame off rebuild on a few years back.

Weight ratio.... I put about 60 percent on my back leg and 40 on my front when its choppy. Less chop the more equal of a stance you can do. Go the other way and you'll snag your front lip and face plant, lol

Snowboarding is a different game, .... you go slightly more on your front foot 55/45.
