Saturday night into Sunday morning 3 inches of the wet stuff dropped here.
Still green grass in the valley, 600 feet below us,

It might melt, (fingers crossed)

Please keep it there. We will happily do without it this winter.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

I'm dreaming of a white Thanksgiving. Just like the ones I used to know ...

One weather guy says we may be under a winter storm watch soon, then turn to a warning. The other channel sez we'll get nothing but flurries. I saw another map that put most of the snow south of us. A typical winter forecast...

I just got a call from a friend(elderly) who wants me to finish off the lawn bagging. He did part of it. I just want to put my equipment away before I have to plow to the shed to store the stuff........

NOAA just said 3 - 6", but there are some "uncertainties"....

Some years we get 6" or so in SC. Some years we get nothing. I would like at least one decent snowfall a year. We haven't had a ice storm in 6 or 7 years which is strange. Used to get Ice storms on a regular basis. The Winters have definitely warmed since 1995. I used to go to the Upper Midwest a lot in the Winters. You guys and gals can keep that ice box to yourselves

Well...I always liked winter and snow and still remember it pretty fondly since living in Ontario. Since moving to Victoria we've had to pretty much give up on that and trade it for some seasonal rain, unfortunately.
We had zero snow last year...which was a bummer. Hopefully we will get a bit this year...but its a hit and miss bet.

My two bits.
