I'm rebuilding my first carb. Everything was going very smoothly until I tried to put the new float on.
First the pin that goes through the float and is held down by a screw didn't fit. I had to use a hammer to get it through! Then, of course when I tightened the screw the float would not move at all. I took the float out again and very carefully made the pin channel a little wider until the float moved freely when installed. - Is this correct?
My second issue now with it moving freely, it's not set correctly and even with the bowl bottom. My issue is it's all plastic and nothing to adjust? Any ideas on what I am missing. I attached a diagram of the carb with arrows- there doesn't seem to be a sping associated with this model.
Thanks in advance
