Hey guys,
I've installed and gapped points on my MQ11 1965 seahorse. When I went to fine tune the points at the timing stage, i found that the flywheel would only turn about 1 revolution. At that point, I'd get the clicking sound you get when you open the throttle, and the flywheel just stops. I have the throttle at WOT(as instructed by the Clymer's manual) and the gearbox is in forward. Regardless of whether I have the motor in forward or nuetral, I get the same result. I do not have this problem with the flywheel off and using a wrench to turn the crankshaft. What the devil is going on?
