I posted about a week ago that I wasn't getting fuel to carb. It's a (96)4.3LX with a weber 4BBL. Well we found that the choke pull off was not even connected and that the choke flap itself was locked in the open position. I've ordered the parts so they're on the way. The guy that found the problem was able to get the boat started by putting hand over carb (manually choking) and having me turn over. This was after he verified it was actually sucking from tank(mouthfull of gas)and reconnecting hose to fuel water seperator. I've since put penetrating oil on the choke assembly and have freed the flap to move open and closed (manually of course). I can't seem to get it started on my own at this point. The pump in the system is electric, should I need to prime this somehow? I've heard that the weber 4bbl takes ALOT of gas to get going? At this point it just doesn't seem that it's pulling gas up to the carb, I can dump in to carb and get it going but once that's gone it just quits. Today I'm gonna try putting the tank hose in to a 5 gallon tank and drawing from there, I'm really thinking the draw from the tank is the issue here. I have replaced the fuel water seperator but that's it. Getting really frustrated here, but I'm sure most do when they want to be on the water. Anything I'm missing?

Jeff
