the worst part of it is all those people that made it "different" back then are now in charge of the govt.............I am MORE afraid.....

I was a child during the 60s and lived in fear of being drafted into the Vietnam war
In 1971 my draft number was 67. They called up to number 125 that year. There was no way I was going to let them draft me into the Army for 2 years. :hippie:eace:
I showed them. I signed up with the Marine Corps for 3 years instead. :usa2:
My dad was very similar to yours Kid, rather then get drafted he signed where he wanted and served for 8 years in the Air Force did 3 tours in Vietnam working on airplane avionics, he is my Mentor and my Hero, I will not allow those that serve be treated the way Vietnam Veterans were when they came home. You serve your country your country should welcome you home.
