Rob you were making me nervous! Here it is 6:14 east coast and no post yet. I took the liberty, hope you don't mind.

This is it boys. Final game of the Stanley Cup. Will the favored Canucks win their first cup since their inception? Or will it be the under-dog Bruins who haven't won the cup since Orr wore a jersey back in '72?

.....ahhh, yes the whole enchilada....Le Grande Fromage!!! It's going to be a very good game. A serious mountainfull of pressure on both sides tonight!
I'm just trying to decide whether to catch the game at home tonigth or to meet some buddies at the pub. I don't mind the pub but we need seriously good, close straight on viewing seats...or I'm out!!
The thing I'm going to be watching for is the ref'ing in this game.

Yep, this is the big one. Going to watch at home with some "refreshments" !!!
Going to be a one goal decision I think but which way I don't know !!!

Wow...you guys should see downtown Vancouver...they have all the (viewing) infrastructure left over from the Olympics and there are currently 100,000 people in the streets heading down to catch the game outside on the multiple big screens...unbelievable!! This is closest Canada gets to an 'in the streets' protest movement
Tickets for the game are heavily into 4 figures with premium seats nearing $10k.
Here is some great irony....Boston's Mark Recchi...is a B.C boy and Vancouver's Kory Schneider ('other' goalie) is from Massachussets...ha, ha.
Ahhhhh.....I love this game!!

Although i would love to watch the game live at the stadium.....someone would be hard pressed to come up with enough money for me to go downtown today. i remember what it was like the last stanley cup the 'nucks were in....looked to be pretty scary.

The Mayor put up a parking ban around the garden, is making bars close early, won't allow this or that.... all to stop the "Knuckleheads" from causing a problem... $**%&)$*!
