can i go from 1/4 to 3/8 on gas line from tank to engine. i just go new line and bal at wall mart and that is the only size thay have pleas help want to get back on lake to day.

You can, but just make sure you use the worm gear type hose clamps that you tighten with a screw driver and check carefully for leaks. Sometimes the 3/8 fuel line has a tendency to leak if not really tightened down on a 1/4 fitting.

Don't over torque the clamp on the plastic fuel filter inlet.
