Got something interesting in the mail last night. It appears enough pitchfork and torch wielding F150, Expedition and Navigator owners gathered to convince Ford to feel a little of their pain. There's a class action settlement whereby the blue oval will reimburse 25 to 75 percent of the cost to replace the plugs if said cost exceeded $300. The higher the cost the higher the percentage reimbursed. I THINK I paid $600. If so I'll get a $300 check at some point but I have to dig up the VIN in order to confirm my cost. IMO the infamous cracking throttle body and crappy modular engine with plastic timing chain parts, self destructing cam phasers and other fun stuff are much more egregious offenses than the plug debacle, but at least I'm not bitter.:boink:Of course part of the settlement is Ford's ability to deny there was an issue (which in my case there wasn't, at least not with the plugs), but I guess three bills is three bills. Ummmm, great job Ford?
