We haven't heard from FSHKPR, Divo, Pony, Speedwagon, pjc, and several others.

If you are new to the board and may be interested, feel free to ask any questions you may have.

We all met at last years event, and had a great time boating, fishing, eating, and bs'ing. We had a good mix of singles, couples, and families. We were all free to do our own thing, or share the good times with new friends.
You don't even need to bring a boat.

So, don't be shy, join the party.
And yes, there really will be free popcorn.

One new one, WillyBWright is planning to attend this year. And maybe Scoop.

Well I hope it because of the season. Middle of winter and all, not many people thinking about boats when it is -8F.

Traffic on the help boards has been way way down lately, so there are very few new members to invite. I do read quite a few posts in the repair forums. When I find someone from the area, I crash the thread, leaving an invite and a link to this one. Sometimes I send a PM also.

I guess we will all have to try a little harder, to invite friends, relatives, and new iboats members.

OK, no software available and HP no longer supports my old HP scanner, so no can make work with my Intel Mac.
Who wants a scanner? :'(


Who has a scanner and would be willing to scan and post the campground brochure?

It's confirmed, we got the contract in the mail yesterday and it will be going back out tomorrow with the deposit.
Baring a problem in inspection or sea trial, we are buying the Wellcraft.
Know anybody looking for a well cared for old trihull? 8)

Won't be able to make it as Fishing has No boundaries is gonna be held the 7th and 8th. Bring plenty of bear repellent as bears are being found as south as Madison

I have been meaning to get to this thread for some time now.....

As of right now, I have nothing going on those days. Generally though the week after the 4th I go camping with my cousins in Stevens Point. It depends what days that falls on exactly, but I have been talking with Calicokid about possibly caravaning up there with him. If anything I would like to get up there for a day and see the faces of people I converse/ argue with 8)

I suppose I deserve all the crap. But, as of right now I will be attending. Dont know on my wife yet but, it all depends on her reunion. I have asked permission to not go to that and it is fine right now. (Now being the key word.)

I'd have to take a vacation day for the 6th. Won't know until after mid-march when we bid vacation days. Being on the bottom sucks. FHNB starts at 7 AM on the 7th so at least I could have a few on the 6th.

Well I am interested, but it is a fair trip, coming from london ontario
I will check with my wife and maybe plan a familly vacation down that way. Is there anything I need? As in is there special laws and licensing down there, and if so how do i get them? Never been in the states fishing or boating

Howdy Jason. I have absolutely no idea on what's required to bring a Canadian boat into the US. I'll try and find some info for you over the next few days and post back. I would imagine our laws are similar, but there are bound to be some discrepancies.

Will you be fishing? Skiing? Pleasure boating? Let me know and I'll try to find some specific information.

Fishing will require a license.
You can actually purchase one online, or at many locations near the campground.

A 4 day Wisconsin personal fishing license is $24.
A 15 day Wisconsin Family license is only $40.

If your boat is registered and licensed in Canada, it is legal to use it here.
We cross the border with our boats several time a year, and our Canadian friends do the same when they visit us here.

Boating regulations are very much the same, as is the safety equipment.

A few exceptions are:
1- you don't have to wear your lifejacket (except children)
2- you can have alcohol in your boat
And your throw-able flotation device needs to be a little larger here, a boat seat cushion is adequate. We could loan you one if needed.

If you plan on making the trip, let us know and we will be glad to recommend things to do and places to stop along the way.
Things like Milwaukee's Summerfest - Music Festival with approximately 35 bands appearing per day. Its dirt cheap too. I may be able to provide housing, if you behave yourself. d

i would be fishing and pleasure as well, the throw-able flotation device do you guys need that for smaller boats? I have a 14', in canada weed don't need anything like that. just as long as there are enough life jackets per person, then all the other things, noise maker, light, bucket, ect. So beside the Throwable i should be good. As for housing, thanks for the offer but the campground is where i am at. Nothing beats hot-dogs over the fire and the fresh air.
