That's funny... my parents stay at the comp while I go boating

some things just sooth the soul for no apparent reason like sitting in front of a fire or floating/cruising on the water. There is really not much else to say, you either respond to these things or you don't.

We boat both fresh and salt water. The only thing the two have in common is that we SCUBA dive both. In freshwater we never fish and while I used to ski tournaments in another time and place, I think I have skied maybe twice behind my current Boston Whaler. Wake boarding is of no interest to me and tubing is for wussies. In freshwater, we ride around, burn gas, float and sleep and SCUBA dive. In saltwater, we fish a bunch, also float and sleep and ride around and burn gas and of course SCUBA dive.

I like to cruise on the open water. It makes me happy. That is about it. Fishing? Remember: fish are friends, not food.

If we're not supposed to eat them, why are they made out of meat?
