I bought a 1989 Sea Nymph to use in the waterway. It has a Mercury 25hp 2 stroke tiller steer motor, and moves right along.
I am in the process of putting a front deck on since it is rather tricky getting in and out.
I have read not to use pressure treated wood for the deck, so I am wondering what to use for the top of the deck.
I don't really want to use carpet, since it is for fishing and I think it would be tough to keep clean.
I am thinking of a painted deck with possibly some sort of no skid for traction.
Prefer to stay away from black, since it will get so hot, and I am in NC.
Is there non skid paint that is colored? I would like it to match the boat.
Or is some type of sand to put on the paint when wet?
Any suggestions?
