1977 9.9 Johnson.
There's six stainless bolts connecting the gear case to the exhaust housing. Three of the six are sheared. Three came out.
I've broken two easy outs. I've tried Liquid Wrench. Is there something better for corrosion between aluminum and stainless?? The bolts appear to be soft, probably not original. I've tried heating the aluminum with a propane torch and they still won't budge.
One sheared bolt still stands about 1/4" proud but vice grips just smash it.
Any ideas from someone who's been there?
