mocha0403, i agree with ezeke, start at the beginning, compression 100psi or more, with in 10% of each other. spark should just 1/2 inch on each cylinder. if these are with in specs, i suggest carb cleaning and rebuilt kit, see sticky at top of forum. also idle speed stop screw adjustment. your motor should idle IN THE WATER and IN GEAR, at 650-750 rpms. the slower the better.
