Fuel Pump Question...

I'll try this again since no-one in Force seemed to know.

1995 Sport Jet 90. The fuel pump has an inlet, outlet and a pulse connection. I also have a crankcase connection and a connection on the intake side of the carbs (air filter side in an automotive system). I am unable to get the engine to stay running, it will cough but then immediately die. Then I discovered I had forgotten those 3 connections. How should this be connected? Pulse to crankcase vent? Then what about the fitting on the intake shroud for the carbs? Connectiing that in would defeat the crankcase vent suction because your essentially leaving it open to the atmostphere right?

I have the manual, but as I have discovered with the Sport Jet 90 manual, it doesnt cover things like fuel line routings and other details one would normally find in an automotive service manual.

Thanks

I am not too sure which three connections you are referring to?

I have the old style engine, so I am not too much help.

Re: Fuel Pump Question...

old style engine as in 94/95 right? i bet the fuel pump is the same anyways.

What i need to know is where the line thats BEHIND the inlet to the fuel pump is routed to. and what is connected to the crank case vent right above the oil pump and lastly whats connected to the copper fitting near the bottom carb on the carb air intake shroud.

thanks!

I will look in the morning and get you the info. In the mean time does anyone know why I have fuel spilling out the breather and flooding out motor?
