I have a 1971 55 HP Chrysler. 2 cylinder. I am changing the diaphram and gasket this weekend. I noticed there is one bolt on the bracket that also goes thru the head. It goes thru the bracket then thru the head plate and head. This is the number one bolt that you tighten when putting on head. There are 10 bolts total to the head. If I were to remove this one bolt. Will I need to remove the entire head and put a new head gasket on. Will this removal of the one bolt effect the head. Like causing leakage? Should I just replace the diaphram and fuel bowl gasket with the fuel pump on the motor? Would seem easier if I just removed. Any suggestions? Thanks
