This isn't technically catching something but a funny story just the same. I was about 15 and was just out on the lake with a buddy tooling around. We see his grandfather fishing in a bay in a row boat. His grandfather was a big fisherman and was always out when they were up. My buddy's older brother was in the boat as well so we get the idea to agrevate the grandfather and the brother who was a bit of an a**. We go flying into the bay and circle their boat a few times to scare the fish and give them some waves to deal with. Nothing dangerous...just childish. Well, we are laughing like crazy because the grandfather, as planned, starts yelling at the brother because we are too far away to yell at. We take off and cruise around for another half hour or so. We docked my boat and went walking to his place ready to face our fate, we get there and there is is grandfather, but he's not pissed, he looks at us and just starts laughing. We were happy we weren't in trouble but we're perplexed just the same. He tells us to follow him around the house toward the lake. We round the corner and there hanging from the deck is a 3 foot plus northern pike on a stringer. Beautiful fish. Being 15 and a punk, I immediately say that I was driving the fish toward the boat. He gave me a look and grabbed the fish, spun it around, and there it was. I had hit the fish with my prop. He said after he calmed down he pulled anchor and started for home when he saw it floating a few feet away from his boat. I am of course guessing I hit the fish. It could have been someone else but it was too much of a coincidence to have not been my boat that got the fish.
