Might I humbly suggest you go back to your books and check against whom we fought in Europe and what their ideology was?

Your ideas seem pretty mired in the 1950s. I'm not sure that's an era which should be held up as the height of American freedom or as indicative of what this nation stands for. People were denied freedoms because of what they believed in, or who they talked to, or what countries they had visited. I think the commie scare era in the US was one of the darkest episodes in our history.

How can you even suggest that a teacher should wear a t-shirt that suggests killing a person for his political beliefs? Objecting to that kind of thinking is not "political correctness." It's the core of what makes this country great!

The point was not what the shirt said, It was the fact that the teacher could wear it. The freedom to wear it.
