What is a good gas oil mix for a Force 40 HP? What is a good gas to use? Thanks for any help! Novice still! During a cold start with a hose, I know not good, should water come out of any other places other than the outlet?

Re: Gas Mix

Howdy, schlap.

Welcome to iboats. :)

A good fuel mix for your Force would be 6 gallons of 87 octane unleaded regular and one pint of TC-W3 rated outboard oil. That would be 48:1, but we usually call it 50:1.

The second part of your question is unclear. Could you reword it?

Regular 87 octane gasoline mixed 50:1 with any brand TCW-3 marine outboard two stroke oil will work. I prefer getting TCW3 oil from wallmart, its bit cheaper and works great.
