I have a 12 gallon gas tank mounted under the transom of my 16' starcraft. The fuel fill is in the top of the transom and right below it on the side of the outboard well is the vent. I overfilled the tank ont eh way to the lake and of course got some leakage out the vent. Went tot he lake and ran it for a while but had problems. Tank is no longer full but when sitting inthe drive way with the trailer slightly tilted up for drainage when the sun heats up the boat some I get fuel forced out the vent and down into the transom. I l;oosed the cap and still leaked. and fuel was pushed up into the filler neck as high as the vent. I turned the boat around, my drive slopes a little bit, and it seems to have stopped, but I don't want to have to turnt he boat backwards inthe drive all the time if I get the tank even close to full before a trip. Anything I could do to help this?

Thanks
Sarc.
