I wonder if our "victim" presented a valid passport to US Border Cops?

New this year is a rule that even a US Citizen must present a valid passport to enter (reenter) the US.

There is something we are not being told by media with an agenda, here.

I think they relaxed the req't for Passports just for this year. I'd go looking for the link but it's a moot point. As you said there's something not being told here. All seems kinda fishy!

I wouldn't doubt the guy got lippy and po'd the authorities. That's just plain stupid. Rational people don't usually do things like he said. There's plenty of cross border traffic by boat all along our Great Lakes & St. Lawrence river border without incidents.

We've personally seen the illegals being smuggled across the river. They don't go in daylight and definitely don't call the authorities to check in. They're in 14' aluminum boats, blacked out with 12-15 people all dressed in dark clothes crossing the river on moonless nights. I've almost run over them on the way home.

Jack booted thugs, I say, typical civil service workers who are anything but.......
I get boarded by the Coast Guard once a year, wasting my valuable fishing time......
They are a pain......
I want to know what checking a registraton has to do with a safety inspection?.......
In Oregon, I was checked out by the Sheriff, the State Police, The Coast Guard & the DNR.....
I'm sure the local yokels would have gotten involved, but there was no room at the ramp for them....​

You never know. Obama might have a war with Canada in the works for when he gets elected. There might be Islamic Extremist Canuks hiding out over there. No telling how they might want to cross the border. The border guys better start looking for tight ropes across Niagara Falls.
Start watching for troop build ups at Ft Ticonderoga, Ft Ontario, and Ft Niagara.

I don't know which agency is detaining him but which ever one it is we need to privatize it. No telling how many of my tax dollars are being spent by nanny gubm't feeding and boarding this illegal immigrant. If I had my way I'd chain a cinder block to him and feed him to the catfish.

Pass on the Molson's...substitute it with some 'Big Rock' out of Alberta and substitute some Canadian Club for the 'Pusser's...you'll thank me later.

About a year ago, they had the "catch and release" program for illegals that were OTM (other than mexicans). Had he crossed the border illegally, he would have been released and a trial date set.

Don't have to have a passport till next year sometime (& they're not sure bout that now), however, I travel to Canada & back frequently throughout the summer by boat. Canada is awesome to deal with, a quick call & I got my entry #. The US side is a lil more of a pain & there are real A holes working there, however I also agree that there's more to it than what we are hearing. I think the guy was drunk before he called & had an attitude to begin with, but we'll never know. The media will portray it any way they want.

He says he accompanied several other boats over. Did they ask permission to stay over? If not why did he not accompany them back. Are they incarcerated too? More to this than meets the eye.
