Well I have not winterized my boat at all...I took it out last week on a clear blue sky 70 degree day and the lake was like glass! Where I live there is no such thing as winterizing your boat. (at least not to me)

Winterize? A word not heard to often down here in FL. Oh, the boat will come up in my backyard for a week or two for paint, then it's back in the water for another year.

Yeah, what's that. (must be taking that canned snow stuff and spraying on the windows to make you feel like it's winter or sumpthin )

I did drain the block 2 times this year when the temps were dipping below 32* just to be on the safe side. Though I've been out several times in the past couple months.

I live way down south in TX. Winterizing doesn't happen much here either. It can get cold here but its rare. Example. Yestarday it was 85 degrees! Today it was 49-60 and thats a good cold day around here. Although last winter we had a couple of days in the 20s. What the heck? Killed all my darn palm trees. But the boats were fine!

Another 2 months for me. If the boating itch gets too bad, I'm heading south to get YOUR boat.:)

even though I keep it in the water year round, at the end of striper fishing (new years) I strip off a lot of stuff and remove the one permanent seat (helm) and replace it with a piece of plywood. I'll wait until April when the fishing starts up again to rerig it. At that time I'll haul it out for cleaning, LU service, etc.

I didn't do full blown winterizing either. Didn't really see much below freezing.

I am not in the deep south states, but you Canadians' and all your ice tick me off. :) Our ice this year has been horrible. I am itching to get the boat out already.
