I am going to give my First personal endorsement ... Ever..

http://www.iboats.com/Boat-Parts-Accessories/dm/

I have Not been contacted for endorsement ..

I would suggest Every member on Iboats Look at the prices and shipping costs for products First here on Iboats.

I can at this point Confirm prices on such things as 'gel'. From the Iboats ship store is less then you could get it from Anyone else. ( I can not Buy Gel Direct from said supplier less than you can from Iboats ! ). I Will start shipping from Iboats myself.

I can suggest that yes while I might get other supplies like Bottom Paint at 2-5% less then the average guy..the Iboats store is a good source.

I get good prices on Paint and Bottom coatings .. and other such things like brushes and sundries .. however when it comes down to what the Iboats ship store..I dont thing you will beat it.

Iboats has a price match guys...take advantage of that ;) ...

YD.

PS. Again.. I have Never been contacted from Iboats..however I Have Contacted them..and the results are above reproach..

YD, I want to see your smiling face, while your holding a can of "gel". That ought to add credibility.

S. O. S. Support Our Sponsor. They stock the same same products as anybody else, and offer more, this great web site.

Thanks YD... Would just like to +1 this.. Most of us are very price-sensitive DIYers, and are, thus, fairly accomplished at scouring the "net" for the best deals, etc... However, if they have the products we are looking and have a price match, then we do owe them a solid first look... thanks for posting... I know I was not aware of the price match...

Now, if the only sold "donor boats" and good tools at HF prices, we could give them tons of business...

Just wish shipping to Canada was cheaper. That's the killer.

Sooooo $191.00 a gallon + shipping is a good deal??? Hmmm. I'm not sure. I love iBoats and buy a lot of stuff from them but Resin Cloth and Gelcoat prices do not seem to be competitive with the other suppliers in the market. Maybe I'm not seeing something and if not please enlighten me.

those are tinted gellcoats woodie.
they match a particular boat. and will save the novice many many hours of trying to match colors

in canada i paid 100 bux for a quart of tinted gelcoat.

so at that price.....that is a Sreaming deal !

When did they get so aggressive? The only issue I have is how hard the store is to navigate. I just cannot ever seem to find what I need.

Re: Getting the Best out of Iboats Pt.2.

wow.....just freekin wow....

i cant touch that price and i deal direct with the manufacturers of the gell. and that is tinted from spectrum !

I know !! LOL ..

I talked with an Iboats rep yesterday to verify .. seems like a few prices went up just in one day. Still the prices are still less then what I buy from the mfg :) .

181.00/gal is Nothing !! I went to the local SR dealer a few months back and had to pay 120.oo/qt for this stuff !! A QT !!!

I looked at Iboats' Bottom paint..yes there about 5 bucks more ( average ) from my local 'supplier'.

YD.

PS. like I said..shop around..but the Price matching is golden IMO ( sure you have to pay shipping costs but it could be very well worth it ).

Re: Getting the Best out of Iboats Pt.2.

with these prices, its time for us comp to go down.

remember......with any iboats purchase......you can get direct acess to every step or your repair thru the forums.
us comp cant compete with that.

Wish I knew about the price match. I just got a whole set of gauges for my Sea Ray. Iboats almost 100 bucks higher.

Bah....

I just ordered the US Composits 2 Gallon Epoxy package at $122.

iboats MAS Epoxy equivalent = $330

iboats West System = $242

At half or better, US Composites has my attention:D

By the way, yes I still love iboats;)

(Edit: I just got an email from them, it'll be here on Friday. That's pretty tough to beat.)
