I'm not going to take an engine block and throw it over board, I just had a hernia operation! LOL.
I'm pretty much thinking either my big anchor is going to have to work or I'll just leave it home in the slip.
Like I said there is a mooring field where I think I can get one, but I'd have to figure out some way to actually get to the field - it's about .25 miles away from the house.
Keep in mind the hernia thing. If I had some kind of small boat with an electrical motor I guess that would work.
I do have a "sea eagle" 50 dollar inflatable but my doc said rowing is off the table for five weeks!
I'd love to see pics of this place, waterfront and floating swim dock....
What's the swim dock attached to??? If it's attached to something, chances are it's pretty well attached and could help tie off the boat. Can you give us an address so we can Google-Earth it???
